Well, it was cold outside but cosy in the studio over the weekend.  Many thanks to all of you who dropped by to enjoy the art and craft on offer.   A great time was had by all; I loved meeting old friends and making new, and I know that you enjoyed the variety and quality of stuff on show.

If you missed out (I know some of you were defeated by the weather), don't panic. I'm thinking about holding a similar event in May to coincide with a nationwide campaign to promote fine crafts and design during the month of May.  Watch this space, I'll let you know......

What next?  If you missed out on the weekend you still have a chance to see work by Ralph McGaul at Sunderland Street Open Studios next weekend, the 11th and 12th December.  He'll be showing his painting and prints alongside the work of Melanie Alexandrou and Patrick Cody at Unit 8, 59-61 Sunderland Street, Macclesfield, Cheshire 01625 617864.

Louise Watson is taking her wonderful glass jewellery to an event run by Colne Valley artists, 'Art at Christmas'. They will be at the Rose & Crown Pub, Cop Hill, Slaithwaite, HD7 5XA next Saturday 11th December. A great day out!  For more details see this website
