A packaging delight

Beginning to think that packaging the work is almost as much fun as making it.

Here's the packaging for Ice Cream in Utopia - my piece for the CGS' Wish You Were Here exhibition at the International Festival of Glass 2015. The piece has been entrusted to the hand of the Post Office and is on its way.

I've learned all I know about packaging from David Reekie, who is a master of the craft, as well as a brilliant artist. That said, it could still all go horribly wrong. Watch this space!
