Fair Trade for Artists
Pondering the question: Can we sell crafts in this country for a fair prices and still expect them to survive, came across this article in the Guardian by Leo Hickman. A slightly depresssing reflection of high-end craft skills that pronounces them all but dead in an age of mass production, but suggests that it would be nice to have a list of what we're about to lose. Still, some useful points about commerce and the value of labour and skills.
